BEACH ACCESS

There are 5 crossover accesses to the beach with the Village.

Crossovers 1, 2 and 3 are located on South Permuda Wynd Drive

There is a centrally located access at the Clubhouse

Crossovers 4 and 5 are located on North Permuda Wynd Drive

BEACH ETIQUETTE

We are proud of our pristine beaches at the Village of Stump Sound and Topsail Island overall! Please help do your part to help our beaches remain pristine, but also by informing your guests of some of these tips. Keep in mind, that there are many residents that live in The Village full time. Some residents will be more diligent about reminding others to adhere to some of these items:

Please stay off the dunes! The dunes protect our community, use the crossovers.
There is no smoking at the Clubhouse, pool or tennis courts. Smoking is allowed on the beach, but please be sure to take the cigarette butts with you and dispose of them properly. The beach is not an ash tray!
Fill in holes dug on the beach. We have a lot of runners and walkers who may fall in the hole and can be hurt if holes are not filled in.
Don't leave items on the beach such as umbrellas, chairs, volleyball nets, toys, etc. The tide changes everyday and may sweep your items away or damage them. It's also a Town ordinance!
No glass bottles on the beach.
Dogs must remain on a leash.
Please be sure to pick up dog feces and depose of them in trash cans available in the community. Bags for dog waste are available in various common areas throughout The Village.
